Recipe for shortbread cookies with clotted cream

For this delicious recipe you need 80 grams of this delicious cream. You can also add the following things to your shopping cart:
125 grams salted butter
100 grams of sugar
300 grams caputo red flour
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius. If you have a convection oven, you can set it 20 degrees lower. Put the butter, clotted cream and sugar in the food processor and mix everything well until it is nice and fluffy. As soon as it is nice and airy, the vanilla and caputo flour can be mixed in.

Roll the dough into a ball and wrap in cling film. Now flatten the ball a bit so that it fits in the fridge. He must rest for at least an hour.

Then remove the dough from the refrigerator and roll it flat on some extra flour to the thickness of your little finger. You can now use molds or a knife to make biscuits. The cookies can be baked in the oven for 10 to 12 minutes until they are golden brown. A good serving tip is to dip the cookies in clotted cream before eating them!
