Semolina is an all-rounder that is used for bread, pasta and pizza. It’s the perfect flour to get your pizza ball through so it won’t stick to the counter or worktop when you make it in the right size. In addition, it gives your pizza crust a nice crispy bite.

But semolina is also used for baking many types of Italian bread. You can recognize it by the yellow color of the bread after baking. Semolina has a coarse grain and is made from Durum grain. In Italy (real) pasta may only be made from 100% durum grain.
